D.M. / M.Ch. Admission

The counseling for admission into all the super specialty programs (D.M. / M.Ch.) will be conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Govt. of India (www.mcc.nic.in)

Admission for Super specialty programs (D.M. /M.Ch.) will be made through a common merit list prepared on the basis of marks secured in National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET- SS).

Any candidate desirous of seeking admission to D.M. / M.Ch. shall also meet the other eligibility criteria laid down by NMC / N.B.E. /DGHS- MCC as applicable.

As per direction of Hon’ble Supreme Court, there will no reservation in Super Specialty programs.

Please note:

  • The candidate shall pay the entire fees (First Year Tuition Fees + Security Deposit) at the time of admission.
  • Please note that, Security deposit paid by the candidate with MCC shall NOT be deducted while calculating the total payable amount.
  • The payment of fees can be done preferably through Demand Draft drawn in the Name of “Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to Be University” payable at Vadodara.

    12. Bank Guarantee or Account Payee cheques of Candidate’s Bank Account (Two cheques) for Legal Undertaking for Fees of 2nd & 3rd Year of residency.
    Note:
    • The allotted candidate shall bring above mentioned ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS along with three sets of Photocopies.
    • In addition to these documents the candidate will also have to submit the ‘Legal Undertaking for Future Fees.’ Please note that the preparation of legal documents will be done at the time of reporting only. (The standard charges apply for the same.) The candidate shall bring the Cheque book of his own Bank Account which shall contain adequate Cheques for preparation of applicable Legal Documents. The drafts of Legal Documents are available on website of Medical Counseling Committee. All the allotted candidates are advised to read the same before reporting.

    CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION AND REFUND / RECOVERY OF EDUCATIONAL FEES:

    (Please Note: The regulations of the Institution for Cancellation of Admission and Refund / Recovery of Educational Fees, are subject to change/ amendments as per the directives of the Competent Authority. The candidate / students are advised to contact the Dept of Central Admission, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, for confirmation of the same.)

    If a student chooses to withdraw from the program of study in which he/she is enrolled, the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University (SVDU) shall follow the following system for the refund/ recovery of educational fees.

    A) For M.B.B.S. / B.D.S / M.D. / M.S. / M.D.S. / D.M. / M.CH./ B.A.M.S./ B.H.M.S. Programs: 

    For a candidate who is admitted in aforementioned programs at SVDU through the counseling conducted by the respective competent authorities (MCC / AACCC/ etc), the applicable regulations for cancellation of admission and refund / recovery of educational fees shall be as under:

    SCENARIO REFUND /  PENALTY DETAILS*
    Scenario A:

    The candidate:

    i. resigns from the admitted seat, within time limits as stipulated by competent authority

    OR

    ii. gets upgraded to other Institution through a counseling conducted by a competent authority

     For students of M.D. / M.S./ M.D.S. / D.M. / M.CH. Programs:

    • Rs. 25,000/- will be deducted from the Tuition fees paid by the candidate at the time of admission. Remaining amount will be refunded within 7 working days.

    For M.B.B.S. / B.D.S / B.A.M.S./ B.H.M.S programs:

    • Rs. 10,000/- will be deducted from the Tuition fees paid by the candidate at the time of admission. Remaining amount will be refunded within 7 working days.
    Scenario B:

    The candidate admitted in any round, resigns / withdraws / discontinues the course / admission is cancelled due to any reason whatsoever, any time after the permissible time limits for resignations, as stipulated by the competent authorities, then

    The candidate is liable for :

    • a) Forfeiture of entire fees paid at the time of admission, and
    • b) The unconditional bank guarantee or undated security cheque/s deposited by the candidate at the time of admission in favor of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University for the tuition fees of remaining years of entire course duration will be redeemed by the Institution. The Sumandeep Vidyapeeth will have the authority to recover the entire penalty amount by appropriate legal procedures.

    B. FOR ALL OTHER PROGRAMS OF THE INSTITUTION

     NOTE:

    • *Caution money / Security deposit, which are not part of the fees chargeable, shall be refunded in full.
    • In case of (1) in the table above, the Institution shall deduct an amount not more than 5% of the annual tuition fees paid by the student, subject to a maximum of Rs. 5,000/- as processing charges from the refundable amount.
    • Fees shall be refunded by the Institution to an eligible student within fifteen working days from the date of receiving a written application from him/her in this regard.
    • In case of point (5#) in the table above, if the student leaves the course or in the event of cancellation of his / her admission, due to any reason whatsoever, anytime after the 30 days of formally – notified last date of admission, the student is liable for payment of the fees for the remaining period of complete tenure of his/her program of study, to the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to University, as the seat will remain vacant thereafter. In that event, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth has all the rights to recover the payment of the fees for the remaining period of complete tenure of his/her program of study, by redeeming unconditional bank guarantee / Un-dated cheques submitted by the student at the time of admission or through any other appropriate legal procedure against the student/parent/guardian for the recovery of entire outstanding amount against him/her.
